Our research

...is of course computational chemistry. We are using computers and quantum chemistry to simulate chemical reactions. Our focus of application is currently on biochemistry and inorganic chemistry problems. Our primary tool is density functional theory (DFT).

Study/work at the lab

Except for JBNU students, no post-docs or students are hired based on unsolicitated contacts, unless self-funded. All positions are otherwise selected based on announced open competition. An international student is required by Korean law to show possession of at least 16 million KRW in their bank accounts before being issued a visa to JBNU. 계산화학 체험을 원하는 학부생들은 1학기 단위로 학부연구생 인턴제 가능. 계산화학 대학원생은 상시 모집. 사전 인턴제를 권장하고, 인턴제를 수행한 학생들은 심사시 우선. 장학금 신청 가능.
